Raiders trade CB Nnamdi Asomugha and swap1st round picks - to move up to take Chris Long to gain back the Raider Nation in full force.  This is why Al Davis signed Duane Starks a solid CB with NFL experience.  Al Davis has to have Chris Long.  
2 LT Jake Long Michigan
Rams will struggle with this choice between Vernon or Jake. Miami at #4 will draft whoever is left over.  
3 DT Glen Dorsey LSU
The owners man crush on Mike Vick will not allow him to pick Matt Ryan.  Another big mistake for this franchise.  They need to turn the page and Matt would do that for them.
4 DE Vernon Gholston Ohio St
The trade with the Raiders gives Miami a Franchise CB and this draft pick gives them a potential franchise DE/OLB or if Jake is here a potential franchise LT. 
5 QB Matt Ryan Boston College
Panthers trade DE Julius Peppers and swap # 1 picks.  KC needs a DE and OL.  They trade DE Jared Allen and also gain Vikes # 17th pick in this draft.  They now have a DE and can hopefully draft O-lineman At # 13 or 17. Panthers gain a Franchise QB
6 RB Darren McFadden Arkansas
This is the best player on the board and they can use him in the passing game as well as at TB.  This kid will become the Jets most explosive player on the offensive side of the ball.  An explosive player on the offensive side of the ball is a big need for them.    
7 CB Leodis McKelvin Troy
They could go OT at this spot and it would not surprise me.  The Patriots want out of this spot. A trade is bound to happen.  But if Matt Ryan is out of the picture then there is not much to move up for.  
8 LB Keith Rivers USC
13 years for a MLB - Don't you think that will just about do it for Ray Lewis?  This kid will be an excellent MLB or OLB in this style of defense.  
9 LT Ryan Clady Boise St
Watch my lips - They have no LT on the Roster!!!
10 DT Sedrick Ellis USC
This is one of the players they wanted all along.  It's either Sedrick or Keith.  
11 LT Chris Williams Vanderbilt
Eagles trade Lito Shepard and swap # 19 pick to move up to #11.  They must move up to gain the LT they need before the run on offensive lineman happens. 
12 OT Brandon Albert Virginia
Broncos must keep Cutler upright and the running game has to improve.  Drafting a O-lineman in one move could improve both those issues. Look for Derrick Harvey here also. 
13 OT Jeff Otah Pittsburgh
Lewis wanted this kid all along.  Be careful what you wish for Coach Lewis
14 OT Gosder Cherilus Boston College
The Bears need a RB and a QB but if they don't get O-lineman it won't matter who your QB or RB is.  Those are the facts of this draft for the Bears.  If the Bears don't pick a O-lineman at this spot then the team will not improve.  
15 DE Derrick Harvey Florida
He will help the pass rush that at this point is not explosive.  
16 RB Jonathan Stewart Oregon
A RB is a need position.  Jonathan has the ability to be a complete back in the same mold as Shaun Alexander RB Seahawks. 
17 CB D R Cromartie Tennessee St
Traded of Jared Allen to the Vikings secure this pick for the Chiefs. They got the O-lineman earlier. They can't pass this kid up.  
18 RB Rashard Mendenhall Illinois
This is a gift from the draft gods.  Somebody has to drop if the O-lineman are drafted early.  It's just that simple. 
19 WR Malcolm Kelly Oklahoma
Bills swap #11 pick for the Eagles # 19th pick and Lito Shepard.  Now the Bills have upgraded CB and WR without loosing a pick.  
20 CB Mike Jenkins South Florida
They could go WR here but CB is too good to pass up. 
21 DE Philip Merling Clemson
You need a pass rush, then you draft a pass rusher! 
22 CB Aqib Talib Kansas
He is very athletic but at the same time he makes a ton of mistakes.  I know Jerry likes athletic players and will live with the mistakes.  As long as the play is in front of him he good turn into a Ed Reed type Safety but his CB intelligence is questionable 
23 DL Kentwan Balmer North Carolina
I think he is a perfect fit as a DE in a 3/4 defense and unless they like Mike McGlynn as much as I do then this is the logical pick for them at this point of the draft. 
24 WR James Hardy Indiana
Vince young needs big strong WR's to throw to because he does not have the accuracy or arm strength to hit the speedsters down the field.  
25 DE Calais Campbell Miami
They need a pass rush and age is becoming an issue for this position. 
26 LB Dan Conner Penn St
The need a LB with leadership skills and Dan can play inside or outside.  
27 RB Ray Rice Rutgers
I look for the Charges to move this pick but if they do not then LT is not going to last very many more years and got hurt in the playoffs last year.  This kid can carry the load. 
28 WR Devin Thomas Michigan St
J.J gets a speed WR in a bigger body. 
29 DE Jarod Mayo Tennessee
Jarod can play inside of outside.  Groves heart operation scares teams off. 
30 S Antoine Cason Arizona
Again look for Ted to trade down to a team looking for a QB.  If not then Antoine is a one of the best CB's in this draft. 
31 S Reggie Smith Oklahoma
They could go in a lot of different directions with this pick.  They could trade back also.
