MOCK DRAFT SCORES

Each year, in the days following the NFL draft, many people, draft sites and publications claim to have had the most accurate first round mock draft.  THR understands that it can be tough to determine which mock draft was actually the most accurate.  To accomplish such a task, the first thing you need to do is to compete on a level playing field -- to play by the same rules.  A simple and clear scoring system is a must.  Most importantly, however, is a deadline; a specified time when all mocks must be submitted.  Since 2001, THR has established a mock submission deadline to coincide with print media (usually about 18 hours before the start of the draft).  It is because of these guidelines that The Huddle Report Mock Draft Scoring has appeared in print media nationwide and has become the most trusted and longest running such scoring available for NFL mock drafts.

Since 2001 The Huddle Report (THR) scores Mock Drafts of the most reputable and widely-published draft resources.  These scores have become the most widely recognized and is the standard by which draft publications, websites and media personnel are measured.  This is not an open mock draft contest and not everyone can enter.  To ensure the integrity of the ratings, we will only score mock drafts from established draft websites posting mocks leading up to draft day, publications and media outlets.  If you would like to have your mock draft included in THR's ratings, please e-mail me and include the URL for your website where these items are posted.  If your information meets the criteria, we will respond with instructions and deadlines for submission of your information for this year's ratings.
