Dexter Reid   S   North Carolina

Dexter has good size, strength and speed for his position. He has been a starter in a big time program and has been a core player for his college team. He has very good skills in the passing game. He is smooth in his back pedal, changes direction well and has the size and tackling strength to stay with a TE in a one-on-one situation. He has quick feet; athletically, Dexter is just what you look for in the FS position. He will be a good teammate.

Needs to Improve

The only problem I have with Dexter is that he still hesitates in his decision-making and he is a four-year starter. That is not a good skill for a safety to have problems with at this point in his career.

Bottom Line

If Dexter continues to hesitate in his decision making at the next level, well…let me just say this.  They already have a nickname for him in the NFL. Toast!!!
