CJ Mosley   DT   Missouri
Strengths

CJ has very good talent for his position. He is quick off the snap and is strong enough to handle the O-linemen in front of him. He is a good 1-gap DT, but he has the ability to handle a 2-gap system also. CJ likes to get in the backfield as quick as possible and in college, did a good job of disrupting the other teamsí offensive blocking assignments.

Needs to Improve

CJ had the benefit of playing with a pretty good DT (Ellison) who really covered for him and made up for his mistakes. He has a long way to go before he understands his position and responsibilities and Iím not sure he has the work ethic to do it.

Talent Board Round  3

CJ is very young at this point of his career. He needs a lot more understanding of what it takes to be a true DT. He can help a team in the passing game because of his quickness, but I feel that he will struggle.  When that happens, the question is does CJ have the fortitude and character to work through the tough times. CJ does have the talent for the next level. He is big, strong and quick enough, but is he coming out too early and does he really understand what will be asked of him at the next level? I canít tell you for sure, but I can tell you this: CJ runs the risk of being just an average DT because things have been really easy for him up until now. Once he gets picked and goes to a camp, Iím not sure there is another player in this draft that is in for more of a shock than CJ!
