Eric is a big, strong RB. He is a dependable runner and wants to be a good RB. He is liked by his teammates and will give you everything he has on the field. Eric does a good job following his blockers and has the strength to break tackles.
Needs to Improve
Eric has a tailback mind in a fullback’s body. The problem is he doesn’t have the talent to be a tailback and has not learned the skills needed to be a fullback.
Talent Board Round 4 First things first, Eric has to realize that he is not a tailback. He is not quick enough to the line. He doesn’t have any lateral movement. He doesn’t run with very good vision and he doesn’t have any natural instincts to make something out of nothing. Once Eric decides to accept this, he now has to want to learn to block. He has to want to learn to catch the ball out of the backfield. I think Eric could be a pretty good FB, but first, he is going to have to realize that he is not a tailback and that alone will take some time.
