Jamaal Brimmer   S   UNLV

Jamaal is a very smart player and plays his position with deceiving speed and athleticism. He is a very smooth player and doesn’t waste a lot of motion out on the field. Every time he is challenged in the passing or running game, he steps up to the challenge. He shows leadership qualities and makes the players around him better.

Needs to Improve

He plays for UNLV and is not on TV that much in the east.

Talent Board Round  4

Jamaal will meet you in the hole like a LB and cover TE or slot WR with the best of them. Some scouts are saying he is a little locked in the hips and doesn’t have good cover skills. Let me tell you this…when you need Jamaal to cover, he will do it fine. He doesn’t have great hip/flip, but he does have excellent change of abilities and burst to the ball to compensate.  He is also smart. Being a smart, good tackling safety with a burst to the ball and good change of direction skills will compensate for a lot of other athletic limitations when it comes to picking a player for your team to fill this position. Jamaal (The Compensator) Brimmer…oh, I like that!
