Josh Bullocks   FS   Nebraska

Josh has good size and speed for his position. He has very good cover skills for a safety and is a bit of a ball hawk. He has good hands for the interception and has good enough speed to be able to cover from sideline to sideline. Josh shows some leadership qualities and is coachable. He has excellent potential to be a top free safety in the NFL.

Needs to Improve

He is not a knock-your-head-off type tackler, but he is a good tackler. If he was just a little quicker and had a better burst and change of direction skills, he would be an excellent CB.

Talent Board Round  2
Josh was smart to come out early. Teams were just going away from him and he wouldn’t have gotten any better than he is right now. I like this kid a lot and waited until after the combine to be sure of a few issues -- mainly speed and quickness. He could very easily play corner in a zone system and around the goal line, he should be able to go one-on-one with your bigger receivers. He is a tough kid and a solid tackler. Josh will become a core player for the team that drafts him and this makes me think he is a 1st day pick. When he gets comfortable in a defensive system, he will get you a lot of interceptions and that, ladies, is the definition of an impact Free Safety.
