Sean Considine   FS   Iowa

Sean has good size, strength and speed for his position. He has a good burst when the ball is in the hands and shows deceiving quickness. He has good hands to make the interception and is smart and shows leadership qualities. Like everyone in this program, he is a good tackler.

Needs to Improve

Sean is not a flashy player and is not an impact tackler, so you really donít notice how much talent he has.

Talent Board Round  4

Sean will be an excellent FS for the team that drafts him. He is a bubble player. By that, I mean if his workouts are as good as I think they will be, he could push himself into the first day of this draft. If you need a pure FS, then you will need to pick this kid. He will never be out of position and he will be the leader of your DBís. He is big enough to take a TE and has the cover skills to defend a big slot receiver. He is smart enough to be in the deep zone and cover from sideline to sideline by using good techniques and film study. He does not have blazing speed, but does have an excellent burst to the ball and the play. Sean will be a core player for the team that drafts him and a fan favorite; however, he wonít be a Pro Bowl player because he is too efficient and not flashy enough. Maybe Iím wrong --  maybe someone other then me will realize that he is an excellent player! Nah!
