Daniel Bullocks   S   Nebraska

Daniel has good speed and burst for his position. He does a good job supporting the run and is better than advised in defending against the pass.  He is a solid tackler and shows decent change of direction skills that helps him to be one of the better cover strong safeties in this draft.  Daniel is a smart player, a team player and shows some leadership skills.  He will be an asset to the team that drafts him.

Needs to Improve

Daniel just has to improve his speed, his burst and change of direction skills.  If he does, then he could play both safety positions.  I know that Daniel will work hard and get better at all of these skills.

Talent Board Round   1

Daniel will be a perfect draft pick right now for a two deep zone system.  He is smart enough and disciplined enough to start as a rookie for the team that drafts him.  After a few years, he'll be able to play in any system as a SS and maybe even a FS.  He shows good hands to intercept the ball, which makes him very dangerous in any zone defense.  Daniel uses good techniques when he covers, but at this stage of his career, he just needs to get a little bigger, faster and quicker.  Add to that some good old fashioned experience and before long, Daniel will be one of the better all around safeties at the next level.  Daniel is going to be an excellent safety and a core player for the team that drafts him.
